Pordasi Sulut Sabet 6 Emas di Piala Tiga Mahkota, Potensi Juara Umum di Kejurnas dan PON

Semarang, VivaSulut.com – Nama Sulawesi Utara (Sulut) kembali menggema di tingkat nasional, setelah kemenangan besar diraih Kontingen Pacu Kuda Persatuan Olahraga Berkuda Seluruh Indonesia (Pordasi) Sulut dalam kejuaraan perebutan Piala Tiga Mahkota atau Triple Crown Pordasi Seri II 2024, yang digelar di Gelanggang Pacuan Kuda Tegal Waton, Kabupaten Semarang, Minggu (2/6/2024).

Tim Pordasi Sulut mengikuti 13 kelas dari 18 kelas yang dipertandingkan, dan 6 emas dan 5 perunggu.

Ketua Pengprov Pordasi Sulut Ferry Wowor mengatakan, timnya membawa 20 ekor kuda dalam kejuaraan dan berhasil mendominasi kelas-kelas bergengsi.

“Saya ucapkan terima kasih kepada para pelatih, joki dan pemilik kuda yang sudah bersama-sama terus mengharumkan Sulawesi Utara, dalam hal ini di bidang olahraga berkuda,” tuturnya, didampingi salah satu pengurus Pordasi Sulut Christodharma Sondakh, Senin (3/6/2024).

Lanjut Wowor, kejuaraan ini juga menjadi uji terakhir tim Pordasi Sulut menghadapi Kejurnas Seri I Pordasi pada bulan Juli dan PON pada September 2024 mendatang.

“Pada Kejurnas Seri I nanti target kami pertahankan juara umum. Begitu juga pada PON, kami targetkan juara umum karena PON sebelumnya hanya meraih satu emas. Pastinya, kali ini harus sapu bersih,” tukasnya.
