Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Kehadiran Santy Gerald Luntungan di rapat kerja nasional (Rakernas) V PDI Perjuangan di Stadium Internasional Beach City Ancol jakarta Utara tidak hanya sebatas mengikuti agenda tahunan partai moncong putih ini.

Di sela-sela pelaksanaan Rakernas yang digelar 24 – 25 Mei 2024 ini, Santy melakukan safari politik ke pengurus DPP, DPD dan DPC daerah lain.

Dituntun Ketua DPC PDI Perjuangan Kota Bitung, Maurits Mantiri, Santy memanfaatkan forum yang diikuti 4.000an peserta untuk saling mengenal dengan potensi-potensi kader kabupaten kota, provinsi dan pengurus pusat.

Santy sendiri memang telah menjadi kader PDI Perjuangan sejak 23 Januari 2023 dan sudah mengantingi kartu tanda anggota Nomor: 717205100204xxxxxxx.

“Sebagai kader tentu wajib mendukung program DPC, DPD dan DPP, meski bukan sebagai delegasi tapi kedatangan kami ini menjadi bukti solidnya PDI Perjuangan di Sulut apalagi di Kota Bitung,” kata Santy.

Ia mengaku sangat bersyukur jika kehadirannya dalam Rakernas menambah wawasan bagaimana solidnya PDI Perjuangan serta program kerakyatan sekaligus mengenal dari dekat para pengurus DPP dan DPD.

“Pak Maurits dan Ketua Fraksi PDI Perjuangan DPRD Kota Bitung, Geraldi Mantiri banyak memperkenalkan simpul-simpul pengurus DPP dan DPD di sini. Tentunya ini kesempatan yang langkah,” katanya.

Ditanya soal langkah perkenalan yang dilakukan sebagai langkah sosialisasi dari DPC Kota Bitung mengusung dirinya sebagai calon wakil wali kota, Santy membantahnya.

Atlet pembalap nasional ini menyatakan, mekanisme di PDI Perjuangan soal penentuan calon wali kota dan wakil wali kota adalah mekanisme terbaik dari semua partai karena dimulai dari survey internal dan eksternal.

“Survei dilakukan DPP sampai pada fit and propertes, sehingga tidak perlu dinilai dengan memperkenalkan kader sebagai bentuk pencalonan,” katanya.

Kepala Kepala Sekretariat DPC PDI Perjuangan Kota Bitung, Suleman Luawo, saat dikonfirmasi soal pencalonan Santy membenarkan jika Santy terhitung Januari 2023 sudah menjadi kader PDI Perjuangan.

Bahkan menurutnya, Santy adalah salah satu kader kader teladan, karena saat dirinya tak diakomodir sebagai Caleg pada konstalasi Pilcaleg 2024, tidak pindah partai atau melakukan upaya pengembosan di tubuh partai.

“Walaupun belum diketahui publik, loyalitas Santy ke partai tidak perlu diragukan dan dia adalah kader teladan,” kata Suleman.

Maurits juga memberikan tanggapan positif soal kehadiran Santy di Rakernas V dan memanfaatkan dengan baik moment tahunan itu dengan bersafari politik ke pengurus DPP, DPD dan DPC kabupaten/kota lainnya.

Wali Kota Bitung ini menganggap, apa yang dilakukan Santy adalah hal yang wajar untuk mendekatkan diri pengurus internal PDI Perjuangan.

“Semua kader partai di mata Pengurus DPP adalah sama dan mempunyai hak yang sama dan biarlah ketua DPD Sulut, Pak Olly Dondokambey dan Ibu Megawati yang menilai,” kata Maurits.

Maurits juga menyatakan, DPC PDI Perjuangan Kota Bitung tak berhak memilih dan menilai calon kepala daerah. Menurutnya, itu ditentukan dan hak penuh DPP melalui berbagai penelitian, survey sampai laporan yang masuk ke DPP.

“Kami hanyalah petugas partai sehingga apapun itu harus ditugaskan oleh pihak DPP,” katanyai.
