Minahasa Utara Raih Penghargaan Kampung KB Terbaik Tingkat Provinsi dari BKKBN

Bupati Minut Joune Ganda didampingi jajaran, menerima piagam penghargaan dari BKKBN, Rabu (15/5/2024).

Minut, VivaSulut.com – Upaya Pemerintah Kabupaten Minahasa Utara dalam pengendalian pertumbuhan penduduk di daerah, mendapat penghargaan dari Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN).

Pemkab Minut meraih apresiasi dari BKKBN Penghargaan ‘Kampung KB Berbasis Data Konvensional Terbaik Tingkat Provinsi” dalam Acara Rapat Kerja Daerah (Rakerda) Program Bangga Kencana dan Percepatan Penurunan Stunting Tahun 2024 yang dilaksanakan di The Sentra Hotel Manado, Kamis (16/5/2024).

Piagam penghargaan ini diserahkan Kepala BKBN RI diwakili oleh Deputy Bidang Pengendalian Penduduk BKKBN RI Dr Bonivasius Prasetya Ichtiarto didampingi Kepala Perwakilan (Kaper) BKKBN Provinsi Sulawesi Utara (Sulut) Diano Tino Tandaju, dalam Rakorda BKKBN Sulut.

“Komitmen Pak Bupati Minut bersama jajaran dalam kaitan percepatan Penanggulangan Stunting tahun 2024 sangat luar biasa,” ujar Bonivasius Prasetya Ichtiarto didampingi oleh Kepala BKBN Perwakilan Sulawesi Utara Tino Tandayu.

Dia menegaskan, data yang ada Pemkab Minut saat ini upaya percepatan penurunan Stunting berada pada angka 10,9 persen berdasarkan Survei Kesehatan Indonesia (SKI) ini merupakan capaian yang luar biasa.

“Untuk skala nasional, capaian Percepatan penurunan Stunting oleh Pemkab Minut adalah angka yang sangat tinggi dan patut diacungkan jempol,” katanya.

Dia menambahkan, dengan capaian yang sangat fantastis ini, Pemkab Minut dapat menularkan terkait strategi dan komitmen sehingga berhasil menurunkan dan menekan angka stunting ke daerah lain di Indonesia.

“Saya atas nama Kepala BKKBN Nasional Bapak Hasto Wardoyo, menyampaikan selamat atas pencapaian teman-teman dari Pemerintah Kabupaten Minahasa Utara, yang dihadiri langsung oleh Bapak Bupati. Harapan kami agar tetap bersinergi, berkolaborasi, dan jangan lupa untuk DAK yang sudah kita berikan bisa dioptimalkan, karena pemanfaatannya sangat penting dalam program-program Pemerintah, terutama dalam penundaan stunting di Kabupaten Minahasa Utara,” ujar Bonivasius Prasetya Ichtiarto.

Ia menambahkan Pemkab Minut layak jadi contoh daerah lain di Indonesia soal pencegahan dan penangganan stunting.

Sementara itu, Bupati Minut Joune Ganda menjelaskan pada saat ini Pemerintah Kabupaten Minahasa Utara kembali menerima penghargaan dari BKKBN dalam rangka, bagaimana kita mengembangkan Kampung KB di Kabupaten Minahasa Utara khususnya Desa Kauditan.

“Pemerintah akan terus menjaga dan mengoptimalkan program KB di Kabupaten Minahasa Utara di semua desa.

Bupati Joune Ganda menambahkan, dalam kaitan percepatan penurunan angka stunting dilakukan secara sistematis dan masif melalui berbagai upaya, diantaranya melalui penguatan program Cepat Turunkan Stunting Jaga Generasi ke Depan Waspadalah Lanjutkan (CETUS).

“Kita harapkan ini akan menjadi role model yang akan membawa Kabupaten Minahasa Utara pencapaian-pencapaian yang lebih baik lagi,” ujarnya.

Kepala Dinas PPKB Kabupaten Minahasa Utara Jane Symons menambahkan, program inovasi dapur Cetus JGKWL tersebar di 131 desa/kelurahan dengan kegiatan memberi makanan tambahan pada anak stunting serta pembinaan pada keluarga beresiko stunting.

Kegiatan Rakor ini dihadiri oleh Gubernur Sulut diwakili Asisten I Pemprov Sulut Asripan Nani, Kapolda Sulut, Rektor IPDN Sulut, para Kepala daerah dan perwakilan Forkopimda Sulut serta jajaran BKKBN se-Sulut.
